Hello blogging world, wow I have been so out of it. The month of December was such a blur but we had so many fun adventures to write about. I lost our charger to our camera so I have been waiting to write until I can get my pics off. We will see if that happens so until I get them I will write about our last weekend and use pics from my moms camera that I stole. I am sure she is wondering when I will give it back!
This last weekend we went down to enjoy some sunshine with cousins. My sis and I ran a 1/2 marathon in St. George and then enjoyed the Saturday with mom. It was very relaxing, we enjoyed sunshine, lunch and a little shopping. I guess if it takes running a 1/2 marathon to escape the kids and husbands for a day, I will keep running!! :) Here are some pictures of the fun, it was so warm on Sat. we decided to take the kids and hike around on Mon. It is so good to be out in the fresh air.

We got home Monday night and the next day we were back in the snow cross country skiing with Tyler's school class! I was in my happy place. We left the yucky smog in the valley and went up to Soldier Hollow in the beautiful sunshine and mountains.

I took this bottom picture myself and I obviously did not do a very good job, sorry Diana, I really did not mean to cut you out. She was the nicest mom that went by far!! She should get an award for helping all those kids that struggled that day and instead she gets cut out of the picture! :)

way to go on the 1/2 marathon Heather!! I did not do it because I totally cheaped out!! It was $100 each and being the starving students we are...I just couldn't justify it! Someday I want to do one though.... :)
Cute pictures!
Heather, it was a great weekend for all who went south. What great pictures and way to go on the running! I must apologize for the "road rage" incident. It was funny when we went past your car your light was on and we thought maybe you were having heater trouble (don't know why) but we commented on it as we passed you (we were probably going 100 miles an hour or so) and then we thought you were a psycho driver as you tried to catch up to us and John flashed the brakes at you. When he did this I said, "why do you do that? We probably know them!" I thought I think I do know that red van - who has a red van. Then of course we drove like a bat out of heck because we are old and can't sit long or we cramp up like old Gramps and Granny! So I am really sorry for not recognizing you. I am going to remove that cursed "revernt" license plate, cause we are anything but that. Forgive the huge comment but I have laughed my head off since I talked to Kate and found out it was you. I am so sorry and John is mortified. (serves him right!) Thanks Edie
A trip south sounds so inviting right now! So sad we missed it all!
hahahaha I just read my moms comment! Seriously, we were crying we were laughing so hard when I told her! So we really need to do a run this spring! Have you heard anything about the Rex Lee? I can't find anything on it for THIS year... Anyway, thanks a ton for bringing my charger back, sorry it didn't work for you!
LOOK AT YOU GO MRS RUNNER!! YOU LOOK GREAT!
Finally checking back into the blogging world and found your 1/2 marathon entry... go you!! Its definitely paying off because you look great. I need to sign up and get my baby-budah in gear, thx for the motivation!
