Cameron Duncan Adams

I am officially a mother of 4. Our little guy came early. He was born June 2, 2010. I had to be induced because of blood pressure issues, I thought this would take forever and I was a little disappointed that I had to be induced but everything ended up going great! I was induced around 1pm and it took awhile but around 9ish I was at a 6 and within an hour I was at a 10 and pushed three times and little Cameron was born. He weighed 7 lbs 5 oz. and was 201/2 inches long. He just wimpered a little and then just looked around. It was an amazing experience. Brent was just as shocked as I was that he came so fast. My mom actually witnessed the first of her 15 grandkids to be born. I don't think she was really planning on it but once they checked me and I was ready she was still there and we were happy to have her stay. I actually thought it was a very amazing moment to have my mom and my husband there.

The other kids didn't understand why they had to wait until the next day to come and see him. They were so excited they could hardly sleep that night. As I think back to a year ago this week and remember the pain that was felt as I miscarried, it amazes me that one year later I feel so much happiness and joy. Needless to say the other kids have been waiting for this moment for a very very long time. They are all very sweet with Cameron, especially Sydney. She really acts like his mother. She can't stand hearing him cry. She has such a tender heart and the boys love him too!!

Been missing these last 8 or 9 months--Pregancy??

So I have completely disappeared from the blogging world which actually makes me sad because I have missed writing about so many great events!! But as the title says, I am due in 3 weeks and hopefully we will get back on track. I have no idea why being pregnant=no blogging but that's just the way it went.

So here's to my commitment to get back on this blogging thing, for nobody else except me, because the older I get, the more I forget, and as I look back the more I really want to remember!

So, pray this baby comes soon, I feel as though I have been pregnant for an eternity!! Here's to setting a new goal of blogging again when the baby comes. Maybe I will actually post a fat pregnant picture just for posterity reasons!! :)

PS One of these days I will start from where I left off back in November but as for now we are doing well to attempt to write again!
