Last week was Mckay's birthday and I can't believe he is already 2. As many of you know the first year of his life was not so easy. The first 2 months he cried non-stop, then we all had a very scary moment when he stopped breathing, then was put on medicine for acid reflux. Then his immune system was so bad he would get sick like every month and throw up non-stop. It seemed like there was always something wrong with the poor little guy. It was quite the adventure and during that time I thought he would never get better and I would never get to sleep again without worrying and stressing if he was ok at night. Needless to say we have all made it through somehow and he is no longer a little baby, he is a healthy energetic little boy that makes us all laugh daily. He is such a happy boy and loves to play with Tyler and Sydney. I feel so blessed to have little McKay in our family.
They kept him overnight and did all these tests, it was very tramatic.
Conclusion: Acid reflux, but the worst part was he had to sleep with a breathing/pulse monitor that would always beep and give false alarms. That thing was so stressful.
Now he's a happy blue eyes toddler, thank goodness!

I feel your pain. We have had another set back with Easton, but hopefully by the time he turns 2 in November...I will have the same story to tell. :) I'm so glad he is doing well. What a relief. You make cute babies.

I can't believe he's 2! Time flies. Those pictures of him in the hospital are heart breaking.
